International Gem and Jewellery Show 2011

The annual Lightning Ridge Opal Festival has become a highly
recognised international gem and jewellery show. There will be visitors from across the globe for seven days of jam packed events.

On display will be an amazing range of opal, unique handcrafted
jewellery, beads and other gemstones.

The IOJDAA Opal Trade show is set to display spectacular Lightning
Ridge black opal and opal from other mining fields.

This international gem and jewellery show attracts jewellers, gem wholesalers, rockhounds and of course those of us who are just passionate about beautiful jewellery and gemstones. This year Lightning Ridge is hosting the 7th National Opal Symposium
which brings together opal miners, scientists and governments from across Australia.

Opal Queen Ball
(Doors open 7:30pm), Tickets: $25 (available at door)
Ticket price includes 1 complimentary glass of Yellow Tail
Bubbles on arrival, and entertainment. Food available through
Bowling Club Bistro prior to event.
Charities – put your support behind your favourite entrant – the
winner of Miss Popularity will receive a $500 cheque to donate to
her nominated charity.
